Joyce is a local artist who was born and raised in the Vegreville area. After attending University in Edmonton, and living in Red Deer for a few years, she returned to live northwest of Vegreville, where she resides today. 

 

Joyce has always enjoyed creating art, particularly drawing. Around 1995 she began working with watercolour, charcoal, and chalk pastel. 

 

She has taken courses at Lakeland Photo and Art in Vegreville, Grant MacEwan College in Edmonton, and Red Deer College. 

 

She has also worked in fine art mosaics, pottery, pen and ink, and coloured pencils.

 

 Joyce’s original art can be viewed and/or purchased at various local and surrounding area art shows and markets.
