Connie was born and raised on a farm east of Vegreville. After she completed her education, she settled in her home town where she was married and raised her family. She returned to the farm in 2003 where she presently resides with her husband Ken. Their two sons have carried on the family business and continue to live in Vegreville.

Connie's lifelong love for art inspired her to start painting in 2014 when she semi-retired from her Hospital Laboratory work. She's a self-taught artist who has received instruction online and from local workshops. Acrylics are her main medium along with some watercolor.

Connie is an outdoor enthusiast and animal lover. Her work focuses on nature and her inspiration comes from living in the country and traveling in beautiful Alberta.

Connie has been a member of the Vegreville Visual Artists Group since 2018. She sells her work through Art Shows and Displays in the community. She has collaborated with her husband, who is a wood-worker, to build canvases, frames and numerous other wood crafts.

Connie's goal is to brighten her community and encourage others to follow their passion.
